About Our School

Welcome to Oak View High School. We are an alternative public school for students who aren’t thriving in traditional high school. Our classes are small and inclusive, allowing teachers to design curriculum for specific student needs while building student confidence in a learning environment. We provide a path for both A-G approved College Readiness and Career Readiness. Each student who joins our campus becomes a part of the Oak View Family.

Wondering if Oak View is the right place for you or your student?

The following are student responses to a school wide survey:

My experience has been amazing and I wish I would have found out about Oak View sooner because I love it here.
Previous HS athlete

I feel like I can absorb more because of how open minded the teachers are. They explain everything in depth along with fun life story examples relating to the topic.

I feel I have maintained a more controlled and stable lifestyle since coming to Oak View and it has helped me schedule my days before and be more productive.

The learning environment at Oak View is much more relaxed than it was at (previous high school). It feels like every time we're learning something we're having a conversation about it instead of just writing and listening. It's a lot more hands-on and encourages students to participate, which previously I wouldn't have wanted to do, but because of the relaxed environment of Oak View it feels natural. You're gonna wish you came here sooner.

For a lot of my life, I really didn't like myself. Now that I'm here, I've had the time and energy to take care of myself the way that I need. I'm able to be who I want to be here, without feeling pressure to fit into any sort of group.
